This spring I did a community outreach with the Bay Minette Elementary School with Ms. Renee Hall’s second graders. They chose peacocks as their theme, and we made a fused glass mosaic window for them to auction at their school-wide art auction fundraiser.
I prepped everything in advance, and packed up with my wonderful assistant Mike and we spent the afternoon designing and gluing with the children. The kids were very energetic, and it was fun to see what variances they could make with a simple peacock. We all had a blast, and I loved the window.
